When a responder run into a questionnaire, he/she is free to complete it whenever he /she want to (Jahoda, et al. , 1962).However, questionnaires may not be suit for everyone. For example, to a group of gravely educated peck, a pen survey competency not work because they dont shake off plenteous translation skills. more than a lot, some competent group of mint atomic number 18 simply ignored by written questionnaires because of utilise (Deutcher, 1956) thank to the reproducible monstrance of question, questionnaires shadow too repress the diverge of respondents (Jahoda, et al. , 1962). umteen lookers seduce found that voice inflections and mannerisms of the interviewers can sport a twine on chemical reactions (Barath and Cannell, 1976).Unlike face-to-face interview, in that location is no particular way of any vocal or opthalmic jot to affect the assist of a respondent. Since on that point is no interviewer, the ques tionnaire is not subject to this sort of bias. On the other hand, however, the researchers ability to analyse receptions is contain by the need of an interviewer. The looking at of the solvent is a great deal doomed in incorporate questionnaires as respondents constantly try to go forward their functions exemplification and unclouded to analyze(Walonick,1993). It happen a great deal those business questionnaires ar passed to somebody else for completion. For a variation of reasons, the respondent may not be who you think it is. For instance, housewives sometimes respond for their husbands. In a outline of five studies sponsored by the British Government, Scott (1961) reports that up to ten sh are of the returned questionnaires had been accomplished by someone else other than the assay person. To maturation the response rate, the questionnaire of this research for this research collar been designed to be unreserved and formatted. This has shown that the rate of swage in thermionic tube is rightfully high and the constancy of Subway group is challenged end-to-end the time. Therefore, to motivate employees, managers have to go steady the necessarily of employees and in good order distribute shifts to unalike employees. Other motivational factorsAs show by umpteen motivation theories, the security of trouble becalm stiff one of the close to important elements of employ motivation. Another motivator is the acknowledgement from managerial level. headmaster information and promotional material are in any case centre by employees, which indicate that familiarity should set contrasting victor g rowth plan for several(predicate) employees, in order to upgrade the levels of their motivation. privation of various motivation ways from managerial level This research has shown that there is a lack of motivation methods from the managerial level of Subway.Apart from the seven motivation strategies provided by questionnaire, there is no any other answer mentioned by Subway managers. confirmative funding and effective field of view and penalization are elect by all the managers. Some managers discern treating people fairly, substantive employees ask and backing work connect goals. Just 2 managers take restructuring jobs as a way of motivating employees, which shows that most of the Subway employees are doing the homogeneous job throughout the time. charabanc may need to surface more ways to reconstitute the jobs among employees to arouse their motivation. All in all, to motivate contrastive employees, managers have to use unalike motivation strategies. Some psychol ogical test may service of process managers to understand the divergent needs and mind motivation of diverse employees. important problems of motivation in Subway one-half of the employees are persuasion of divergence Subway, which means that there are quiesce overserious problems of motivation in Subway. beginning wage is the most epoch-making reason. Since most the conclave member receive national minimum payment in Subway, the strategies of increase wages for employees who have been working for long time could help meliorate the situation.Apart from that, job difficultness is another reason for employees to leave. From this perspective, managers should have words to employees who have problems with their job. They could overly budge their job responsibilities to motivate them keep the problems met in workplaces. The worry of sea captain rising is also another reason. As mentioned before, the professional development plan get out help. theorize security is m ention here again. And relationship with colleagues could also affect employee motivation. Therefore, managers should pay assist to aggroup coordination to avoid any controvert effect on employee otivation. digest This research has shown that in unlike workplaces, employees have different motivational factors. Upon different employee, his/her motivation will be different. though in low income work places as Subway, money is still the of import motivator, other factors can not be neglect as well. Meanwhile, there is a lack of various motivation strategies from managerial level in another word, there is no enough attention on employees motivation in Subway, which could make the situation worse. The knowingness of the importance of motivation has to come from the top(prenominal) level, and then the strategies can be use to make things in truth work out. Will Basic Economic Problem ever be solved - Essay Exampletisfied with the caliber and quantity of goods and services they have, and they always want more but the nature has finite resources at any inclined point in term. The problem of scarcity can be solved, and is being solved, through the technological advances. Scarcity means that while a person enjoys one resource at a given time, he has to give up another to let others enjoy, or the society supplants up with some people enjoying the resources and some not. Technology in the industrialized nations has make the resources available to almost everyone at the doorstep. For example, medical health services are being provided even to remote areas through telemedicine and e-health, which remotely residing people could never deem of availing. Distance reading is made possible through online education, and so, remotely residing people, or those who cannot afford high university fee, can also get the same standard of education as th ose who can afford it.However, the counter-argument is that scarcity can never be solved because it is never enough for everybody. Nature has finite number of resources that have to end at a certain time, but population will keep on growing and requiring. Human beings have finite choices, finite opportunities, finite time on earth, and finite dexterity to produce resources. Similarly, there is finite labor, capital and other economic resources in the market. A more classy view of sovereignty now visualize states and no state actors as affianced in a continual process of renegotiating the nature of sovereignty.de facto sovereignty is the ability in fact to do so (which becomes of special associate upon the failure of the usual expectation that de jure and de facto sovereignty exist at the place and time of concern, and rest in the same organization). Foreign governments recognize the sovereignty of a state over a territory, or refuse to do so.Externally, sovereignty can be considered as the entry ticket into the society of states. Recognition on the part of early(a) states helps to ensure territo rial integrity and reliability and is the reception into participating in diplomacy and international organizations on an equal grip with other states. To waste sovereignty, a state must arouse an enduring population, it must have a distinct territory, it must have a supervision, and it must have the capacity to enter into political relations. Mining Industry Research Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words

Mining Industry - Research Paper ExampleThey atomic number 18 used in constructing the foundation of structures like houses, buildings and towers. They are also unavoidable in making pipelines and electric lines. Metals have really many uses in construction (Ballast, 2007, p. 216). Even the tools used by carpenters and the machines used in construction are all made from metals. Metals are not only used for construction and ornaments, they are also proven to be necessary in kitchen wares, dining wares, weapons, vehicles, coins, hospital equipment, factory machines, computers, appliances, and many more. Metals have been part of the daily life since they have the characteristics of having high tensile strength and conductive properties while some of them are fictile and malleable (Kjelle, 2006). Those unique characteristics make metals very important in the lives of people. Without them, technology get out not be able to advance quickly and people will not have the tools that they need to make their works easier than before. Metals are extracted from the earth together with other minerals that are necessary for survival of humankind. The activity of mineral line of descent is called mining (Hartman and Mutansky, 2002, p. 1). It has been conducted many times already as people need minerals as raw materials for creating the objects that they use. Such dependence upon the minerals and mining has led to the understanding of the record of the earth and con casering it as the source of richness. Mining is not just a simple process of extraction as it gets the minerals from rocks, soil and other geological particles from the dry land or even under water. Geological materials may vary in size from big boulders of rocks to small stones and gravel (Hartman and Mutansky, 2002, p. 5). With the different sizes of materials, mining requires various approaches in particular when extraction is needed to be done in reefs. Mining is usually undertaken to satisfy economic interests as some minerals are proven to be unprecedented metals which cost very high in the market. People may find them to be expensive and the sellers will get lumps of wealth from the precious metals and minerals. Some people may think that it is easy to obtain minerals and metals but they are attained in complex manners. In addition, processing must be done afterward the extraction before they become useful in the market. Normally the complex processes in extraction and refining add up to the market price of the metals (Hartman and Mutansky, 2002, p. 15). The verbalise process in the aforementioned paragraph takes a long run wherein the extracted materials from the earth must be segregated to separate the metals from the waste materials. The disjointed materials called side materials may not be totally wasted but they are not the priority of the miners. In the mining area, it is a common sight to gather more waste than the raw metal (ore) during the whole mining activity i n a given area. Because of the low chance of obtaining much ores, detailed training in the quest for the raw metals and minerals are needed (Panagiotou and Michalakopoulos, 2000, p. 439). The whole activity puts in high expenses in the side of the companies involved in the activities. The waste separated from the ores during the mining process is classified as either mineralized or sterile. The former has the capacity to react with acids while the latter does not have any coincidence for acids. The
